MEP Siegfried Mureșan said the fact that the future Government has a new structure that centers on investment and reform priorities is a good thing.
He approves of the fact that the future Government of Moldova has a separate ministry of infrastructure and regional development. “The people expect the Government to create new jobs and to reduce the discrepancies between regions. For the purpose, infrastructure should be developed so as to attract investors that will create new jobs all over the Republic of Moldova,” Siegfried Mureșan posted on Facebook, being quoted by IPN.
He also said it is good that there is a separate ministry of the environment as the quality of people’s lives should be increased and pollution should be reduced, while the protection of the environment should be a priority for any Government.
According to the MEP, another good decision is the designation of a deputy prime minister for digitization. Investment in digitization will bring new better-paid jobs to the Republic of Moldova, more competitive enterprises at international level and better public administration with improved public services for the people.
Siegfried Mureșan reminded that the Republic of Moldova can use a €600 million economic recovery plan offered by the EU to invest in road, digital, energy infrastructure and in economic competiveness, to support small and medium-sized enterprises and to do the reforms expected by the citizens of the Republic of Moldova in public administration, public sector, justice and the fight against corruption.
