The European Political Community Summit hosted by the Republic of Moldova was a success. The event showed the Republic of Moldova’s importance for the security of the whole Europe, said MEP Siegfried Mureșan.
According to him, the EPC Summit showed the confidence enjoyed by President Maia Sandu and the Moldovan government at European level. “It was a success as all the European leaders who took part learned more about the Republic of Moldova and saw the European integration wish,” the official wrote online, being quoted by IPN.
The European Political Community was founded in 2022 on the initiative of the President of France Emmanuel Macron. The first EPC Summit took place in the Czech Republic, while the next such meeting will be hosted by Spain.
