The Transnistrian leader Yevgheny Shevchuk promulgated a law by which the child benefit provided to socially uninsured parents or guardians for a period of one year and a half is increased from 2017, IPN reports.
According to the Transnistrian press, the monthly benefit will rise from 340 Transnistrian rubles (over 600 lei) to almost 780 rubles (about 1,400 lei). The socially insured parents will receive a child benefit of over 1,060 Transnistrian rubles (about 1,890 lei).
The benefit will be given to parents or guardians who do not work or are not involved in full-time education starting with January 1, 2017.
