Sheriff Tiraspol will host their Champions League qualifying fixture versus Zrinjski Mostar at the Zimbru Stadium in Chisinau, the UEFA Executive Committee decided.

The venue complies with all the UEFA regulations applicable to Sheriff’s home matches in UEFA interclub competitions, the Moldovan Football Federation said in a press release.

The European football body also agreed to have the date of the match changed from July 13 to July 12. The first leg will be played at Mostar on July 6.

According to the Moldovan Football Federatio, if Sheriff are successful in the qualifiers, their home matches will continue to be hosted by Zimbru.

If Sheriff beat Zrinjski in the first qualifying round, the Moldovan champions will play against whoever wins the Maribor-Shakhtyor Soligorsk fixture, with the away game scheduled for July 19 or 20, and the home game a week later.

Earlier the UEFA Executive Committee decided that Tiraspol won’t be able to host any UEFA matches until further notice, due to the situation in the region.
