Sheriff Tiraspol will meet the champion of Georgia Torpedo Kutaisi in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, IPN reports.
The team trained by Kakhaber Chkhetiani ranks fifth in the new season after 15 stages played and is 13 points behind the leading Saburtalo. The matches of the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League will take place on July 10-11 and July 17-18 respectively.
The draw for the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League will be held in Nyon on June 20. At this competition, Moldova will be represented by Milsami Orhei, Petrocub Hancesti and Zaria Balti.
