Sheriff Tiraspol was defeated away by Nice 1-3 in the return match of the 1/8 finals of the UEFA Europa Conference. Sheriff lost the first leg in Chisinau 0-1, IPN reports.
The goals for the French team were scored by Gaetan Laborde, Terem Moffi and Billal Brahimi, while the goal of honor of the team from Tiraspol was scored by Abdoul Tapsoba.
Fiorentina, West Ham, Basel, Lech, Alkmaar, Gent and Anderlecht also qualified for the quarterfinals of the competition.
