Sheriff trounced Zimbru 3-0 in the derby match of the 20th stage of the National Football Division, IPN reports.
The goals were scored by Posmac (18th minute), Kapic (45th) and Badibanga (75th). “It is not easy to play after the matches of the national teams. We came together only four days ago. I’m glad we managed to beat a historical opponent,” Sheriff coach Goran Sablic told a news conference.
Sheriff is now ten points ahead of Milsami, which lost at home to Speranța 0-1. The only goal was scored by Dragan in the 74th minute. The other two matches of the 20th stage ended as follows: Petrocub - Dinamo-Auto 3-0 and Sfîntul Gheorghe - Zaria 1-0.
