Sheriff and Dacia didn’t encounter serious problems in the 32nd stage of the National Division and remain favorites in the race for the title of champion, IPN reports.
In the absence of the top scorers of the championship - Ricardinho and Brezovec - Sheriff demolished Saxan 7-1. The team from Tiraspol scored four times in the first half through Savic, Gansari, Bayala and Damascan. After the break, Shumkin reduced the difference, but the guests remained with ten players in the 69th minute, with goalkeeper Colibaba being sent off. Vitalie Damascan transformed again the free kick, taking the score to 5-1. Former Zimbru player Jo Santos also scored two goals towards the end of the match.
Dacia defeated Dinamo-Auto 4-1. In the last stage, Dacia plays against Saxan away, while Sheriff meets FC Ungheni away. If Dacia and Sheriff score victories, an additional match will be played to decide the winner.
The other matches of the 32nd stage ended as follows: Zaria - Ungheni 5-0, Zimbru - Speranta 1-1 and Academia - Petrocub-Hancesti 0-0.
