Sheriff and Dacia rise in world club rankings

Sheriff Tiraspol amassed 124 points in the world club rankings and rose up to the 106th position. The standings have been published by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics. Sheriff gained 11 places since the last rankings, Info-Prim Neo reports. Meanwhile, another Moldovan club, Dacia Chisinau, impressed as well. The club improved its standing by 16 places, up to the 246th. However, Olimpia Balti dropped points and lost 9 positions, currently sitting 295th. Internazionale Milano are top of the pile, closely followed by Spanish giants FC Barcelona. Bayern Munich complete the top three. The IFFHS rankings are based on results of official matches in leagues and cups over the last 12 months.
