Sheriff Tiraspol and Dacia Chisinau produced a 0-0 stalemate in the derby of matchday 24 of the National Division. It’s the third time this season when the league leaders’ clash ends goalless, Info-Prim Neo reports. “We played well, we created several chances and I think we deserved to win”, Sheriff coach Vitalie Raskevici told the press after the match. “We had a good game, we limited the adversary on their own pitch. There are 9 more games ahead and the title race is still on”, declared Dacia’s coach Igor Dobrovolski. After this match, the Tiraspol-based club remains two points ahead of their Chisinau rivals. The third place is occupied by Zimbru Chisinau, who bested Academia UTM Chisinau 2-1. Zimbru’s rivals for third place Iskra Stal Ribnita and Milsami Ursidos Orhei obtained 1-0 victories against Sfantul Gheorghe Suruceni and CSCA-Rapid Ghidighici respectively.
