After three consecutive draws, Sheriff won their first Super Liga victory this year. Tiraspol defeated Zimbru 4-1, IPN reports.
Twins Joao Paolo and Paulino scored three goals - Joao Paolo for Sheriff, while Paulino - the guests’ goal of honor. Aponza and Badolo also scored for Sheriff.
The team from Tiraspol ranks third after four rounds, having by four points fewer than Petrocub and by one point fewer than Zimbru.
In the fifth round, Zimbru will play at home against Petrocub, Dacia-Buiucani will host Milsami, while Sheriff will meet CSF Balti for the second leg.
