An object resembling an anti-tank projectile was found in front of a flower shop in Botanica district of the capital city. Following examinations, the police announced that the device posed no risks to the population, IPN reports.

The police were notified of the case on the morning of February 24, by a citizen who told them that the object was situated on Dacia Blvd.

The area was immediately isolated and explosive ordnance disposal specialists examined the object. It was preliminarily established that this is a PG-9 model shell, without explosive power, which is used most of the times during training, the General Police Inspectorate said.
