A shell allegedly dating from World War II was discovered during digging works on a street in Botanica district of Chișinău.
Contacted by IPN, press officer of the Chișinău Police Division Natalia Stati said workers found a suspect object on a building site at about 4m on September 4. They immediately called the police and a bomb squad was sent to the scene.
The first examinations showed it was a shell that most probably dates from World War II. The investigations go on.
