Shelin forces his way into Parliament building despite ban

Social-Democrat leader Victor Shelin has forced his way into the Republic Palace where Parliament sits despite a ban imposed on him by Speaker Marian Lupu. Security attempted to prevent Shelin from entering, but a group of Communist MPs intervened to overcome the resistance. The Communists aided Shelin into the assembly hall, where they surrounded him to prevent his expulsion. Shelin was banned from Parliament after he spoke to the public from a platform displaying the Parliament's insignia, which Speaker Marian Lupu considered to be a violation.
