Shares in Moldova’s largest bank fell in price

After hitting a record high of 2,100 lei last month, the shares in the largest bank in Moldova have dropped in price. On September 14, at the Stock Exchange of Moldova, the shares in the commercial bank Moldova-Agroindbank SA dropped to 1969.52 lei/share from 2000 lei on September 5. The bank sold 0.01% of the issue via one transaction (par value – 200 lei). Commercial bank Mobiasbanca sold the same day 0.08% of the issue for 120 lei a share (par value – 10 lei) via two transactions. The shares in Victoriabank SA were quoted at 320 lei (par value – 10 lei). 0.001% of the issue was sold via one transaction. The Chisinau-based electrical pump maker Moldova Hidromash SA sold 0.16% of the issue for 0.97 lei/share (par value – 1 leu) via one transaction. On September 14, the turnover of the Moldova Stock Exchange stood at 963.3 thousand lei, as a result of 5 transactions.
