Shareholders of “Avicola Nord” dispute reinstatement of former director

The council of shareholders of the poultry breeding company SA “Avicola Nord” challenged at the Prosecutor General’s Office the State Registration Chamber’s actions whereby former director Gheorghe Barladeanu was reinstated in his post, Info-Prim Neo reports. The council also accuses the head of the State Registration Chamber Victor Cebotari of favoring Gheorghe Barladeanu. “Victor Cebotari took the documents of SA “Avicola Nord” from the Balti State Registration Chamber without permission and, by making amendments to them, reinstated Gheorghe Barladeanu in his post. He issued Gheorghe Barladeanu with an excerpt from the Register, confirming that he is the company’s director,” Ecaterina Sotnikova, the council’s acting head, told a news conference. She expressed her concern that the reinstated director may make changes to the company’s statute. Last week, Ecaterina Sotnikova announced that Gheorghe Barladeanu came to the factory accompanied by 50 persons and presented the extract from the Register. Barladeanu owns 5% of the shares in the company. SA “Avicola Nord” employs over 60 persons. It breeds about 70,000 fowls.
