SHARE Opera Omnia Award to go to Moldovan architect

Architect Gheorghe Telipiz from the Republic of Moldova will be offered the SHARE Opera Omnia Award that is provided by SHARE Architects Society for remarkable accomplishments in the field of architecture and for the role played in developing significant architectural projects. He will be awarded in the International Architecture and Technology Innovation Forum that will take place on February 28 in Chisinau.

The forum is organized by SHARE Architects of Romania in partnership with the Union of Architects of the Republic of Moldova. The event will bring together architects from the Republic of Moldova, Romania, the UK, Switzerland, France, and Turkey.

In a news conference hosted by IPN, vice president of the Union of Architects of the Republic of Moldova Sergiu Tronciu, dean of the Design Faculty of the Moldova Technical University, said the award has been provided by SHARE Architects Society for many years in 15 countries, including Romania, North Macedonia, Albania, Slovenia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Poland, Greece, Hungary, etc.

The Union’s president Iurie Povar said the SHARE Architects forums during the past 25 years have become a platform for connecting architects and builders from Central and Southeastern Europe. The forum provides a useful framework for knowing and understanding the diversity of modern architectural phenomena. At present, SHARE Architects stages its events in 16 countries and developed a community of over 50,000 professionals around it.

“Against the background of an active community of participants and invitees, there was created the international society of architects SHARE Architects Society whose mission is to strengthen the ties between its members within a body in which the experiences, ideas and excellence are shared. Currently, SHARE Architects Society includes 627 international architecture leaders from 42 countries,” stated Iurie Povar.

“We have long waited to organize the SHARE Forum in the Republic of Moldova. We are delighted at the fact that Chisinau is added to the map of our wide platform, alongside such European capitals as Bucharest, Athens, Belgrade, Bratislava, Budapest, Cracow, Ljubljana, Nicosia, Prague, Sarajevo, Pristina, Tirana, Sofia, and Skopje,” said Aurelia Carpov, a member of the Union’s Administration Board, reading SHARE Architects founder Florin Mindirigiu’s message.

The International Architecture and Technology Innovation Forum – SHARE Chisinau 2023 entitled “Living and Working Architecture” will take place on February 28, stating at 10am, at the Madison Park Chisinau. According to the organizers, tickets to take part in the forum can be purchased during five more days. These are available from organizers’ websites.
