A blind shell of the 100-mm caliber was uncovered in Hartop village of Floresti district. “The missile was found during earth works,” Liliana Puscasu, the press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergency Service (SPCSE), stated for Info-Prim Neo.
The SPCSE team and police went to the place. The missile is to be annihilated by the sappers of the Ministry of Defense.
This is the 21st case since the beginning of this year when ammunitions dating from World War II are unearthed. 120 missiles have been disarmed so far.
