Several deputies request dismissal of Government members for not knowing the state language

A group of 15 MPs solicits the dismissal of 5 members of the Government for not knowing the state language. A declaration made by the social-liberal MP Igor Klipii on behalf of the group, says that the fact that those 5 persons do not know the sate language represents a violation of the legislation. MPs solicited the dismissal of the Minister of Reintegration Vasili Sova, minister of Transport and Road Management Miron Gagauz, minister of Informational Development Vladimir Molojen, director of the Agency for Constructions and Territorial development Igor Semenovcher and director of the Cadastre and Landed Relations Agency Alexandr Bannicov. Moreover, the governor of Gagauzia, Gheorghe Tabunscic was urged to learn the state language. Interviewed by BBC in late August, President of the R. of Moldova Vladimir Voronin declared that “There are 4 ministers who don’t speak the state language in the Government”, but they were appointed due to their professionalism. Anyway, specified Voronin, the citizens who don’t know the “Moldovan” language should learn it.
