The girl aged seven from Hasnasenii Mari village of Drochia district, who went missing on January 13, hasn’t been found yet. Besides the police, the search involves villagers too. The local council’s secretary Leonid Cucovei has told IPN that the girl lived with her mother and her husband from the second marriage. The girl’s biological father lives in another settlement and belongs to a community of Romanies.
Leonid Cucovei also said that it is for the first time that a child goes missing in their village. The seven-year-old girl went to visit villagers and sing New Year songs to them together with a group of locals and didn’t return home. Those who saw her last said the girl was heading home.
The child is 1.20 meters in height and has blond hair and blue eyes. She was dressed in a brown anorak, yellow and black pants and red boots. Anyone with any information about the girl is asked to call the police on 902.
