The Ministry of Justice and three NGOs signed a cooperation agreement for carrying out seven studies in support of the reforms implemented in the justice sector, IPN reports.
The Legal Resources Center, the Penal Reform Institute, and the Center for the Analysis and Prevention of Corruption will soon provide the Ministry with researches concerning the instruments for preventing interference in justice and corrupt behavior, voluntary polygraph testing of legal system employees, criteria and procedures for electing, naming, promoting and ensuring the general immunity of prosecutors.
There will be also carried out studies of the rules of regulating the professional responsibility and integrity of prosecutors, the need of judges to specialize in specific cases and to determine the personnel necessities of the prosecution bodies.
The three NGOs obtained a non-refundable loan from the U.S. Embassy to make these studies
The organizations were selected at a contest held last yearend.
