Seven persons injured in road accidents on Monday

Seven persons suffered traumas in car accidents registered on Monday, July 17, in the capital. According to the inspector of the Road Safety, Administrative Supervision and Public Relations Service of Chisinau Road Police, Ion Roscovanu, at 6:00, at the crossing of the streets Dimo and Alecu Russo, a Mitsubishi car, driven by a drunken motorist, hit a tree. As result of the impact, a passenger, 28, suffered mental shock. A chain accident occurred at 15:00, at the crossing of the streets Vadul lui Voda and Milescu Spataru. A Volkswagen-Golf car, with Criuleni registration plates, hit a Volkswagen-Passat car, driven by a woman of Dubasari, being pushed, as result of the impact, into a car VAZ-21140 of Telenesti. The passenger of the Golf suffered a mental shock, and those three cars were damaged. On Monday, road inspectors registered in the capital 20 traffic accidents resulting with injuries of 7 persons, including two pedestrians. 186 records were made, of them 15 for drunken driving, and 34 for excessive speed.
