Seven persons were admitted to the interview stage of the contest to fill the vacancy of ombudsperson. These are: Violeta Gașițoi, Teodor Cârnaț, Ilie Rotaru, Emanoil Ploșnița, Ceslav Panico, Alexandru Zubco and Yevgeny Goloshchapov, IPN reports.
The interview stage will take place on January 31, at 9:30am. The Parliament’s Secretariat will ensure the video recording of interviews and the videos will be published later.
The candidates will be assessed by all the members of the special commission. Two candidates who will obtain the highest score will be presented in Parliament and this will confirm one of them as ombudsperson.
The post of ombudsperson fell vacant on December 9, 2021 after the MPs accepted the resignation tendered by Natalia Moloșag.
