Seven papers were annulled at the last Baccalaurean exam, in the mother tongue for Gagauzians, Bulgarians and Ukrainians, taken on June 21. The reason is the same – the candidates were caught cheating, the director of the Quality Ensuring Agency Anatol Topala told a news conference. The exam was sat by 500 candidates, IPN reports.
Anatol Topala said the exams were held in a normal regime. The grades will be posted on June 27. For the first time, the students will be able to see the tests on the Internet, graded and scanned. For this, they will need a personal code that can be obtained from the principle of the school where they studied. The papers will be accessible online only between June 27 and June 28.
The discontented students will have 48 hours to challenge their grades. The results of the re-grading will be announced on July 6. “The Education Ministry calls on the students to dispute the grade only if they have reasons for this,” stated Anatol Topala.
In the period between July 8 and July 15, there will be held the additional Baccalaureate session for the candidates who could not take part in the main examination session for objective reasons and for those who got negative grades. The students caught copying will be able to take the exam again next year.
