Seven Moldovan teams included in European clubs rankings

Sheriff Tiraspol is the best ranked Moldovan team in the rankings of the International Federation of Football History and Statistics for 2001-2012 that covers the European continent. In the rankings released on January 29, Moldova’s champion takes the 103rd position with 990 points, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The rankings also include such Moldovan teams as: Zimbru Chisinau (211st), Dacia Chisinau (231st), Nistru Otaci (334th), FC Tiraspol (369th), Olimpia Balti (511st), and Iskra-Stal Rybnitsa (522nd). The rankings are compiled based on the results achieved during the year by over 1,600 teams from 47 European countries.
The Spanish team Barcelona heads the rankings with 3,224 points. It is followed by Manchester United England with 2,987 points and Real Madrid Spain with 2,828 points.
