Two men and two women from Chisinau are accused of trafficking in human beings and in children. They are suspected of exploiting sexually seven girls, two of whom younger than 18, during a year, IPN reports.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, in 2013-august 2014, profiting from the unfavorable social situation of the seven girls, two of whom were aged 15 and 16, recruited them in order to exploit them sexually. They were taken by units of transport to clients’ addresses. The girls provided services to four clients a day, being paid by 600 lei per hour. The money was taken by the offenders.
The procurers aged between 24 and 30 are under arrest. They have a criminal record and face up to 20 years behind bars.
