The Embassy of Romania in Moldova announced that the fees for a number of consular services will be annulled as of February 1, 2017, IPN reports.
In a press release, the Embassy says fees will not be charged for consular services to issue travel documents, to authenticate certificates, any form of notarial legalization and certification, to issue common law certificates, copies and extracts from consular archive documents, to store certificates and other documents, to register marriage, write birth and foreign marriage certificates in Romanian civil status registers, issue civil status extracts and other civil status services.
No fees will also be charged for the purchase of legal and extralegal acts in Romania and for submitting applications for Romanian nationality based on Article 81 of the Romanian Nationality Law, which was republished with subsequent changes and supplements. The new fees are available on the Embassy’s website.
