Service sector’s GDP share reduced, goods’ increased

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reached 14,498 million lei in January-March 2010, a 4.7% increment on the same period of 2009, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Goods sector’s GDP share increased by 0.2%, while service sector’s reduced by 0.5%, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
Meanwhile, the gross production of fixed capital has decreased by 20.3% from January-March 2009. Its GDP share dropped from 15.2% to 10.9%.
The amount of collected taxes on production rose by 17.4%, contributing to the GDP with 2.8%.
Final consumption grew as well, increasing the GDP by 2%. Moreover, the import and export of goods and services increased by 1.3% and 4.7%, respectively.
