Unaffiliated MP Sergiu Sarbu will put forward a number of conditions for giving his vote to a new Government headed by Iurie Leanca. He has told IPN that one of the conditions is to constitute a parliamentary majority that will support the new Cabinet. The other conditions concern the guaranteeing of human rights, access to justice, demonopolization of sectors of justice, etc.
“I will not vote with the closed eyes. I want my vote to bring value added to certain interests of the people,” said the lawmaker.
Sergiu Sarbu also said that he wants the negotiations to be serious, not a game of some parties. “A condition is that these discussions should be serious and not simulated and should not represent a step that would lead to early elections. They say that it is rather a show. But we will see soon if this is a game of the political forces,” he stated.
Iurie Leanca was nominated for premiership by presidential decree on May 15.
