The leader of the “Antimafie” People’s Movement Sergiu Mocanu said the information that the man who was wounded fatally during hunting in the Domneasca Forest was incinerated in Odessa, which was disseminated by the press, is not true. “It’s not known where the body is. It was speculated that it was taken to Odessa to be incinerated. We have evidence that the crematory’s journals contain no information about the incineration of Sorin Paciu. We don’t know where the murder weapon is. We know that the arms were cleaned. Every expert knows that an arm involved in a murder must not be cleaned,” Sergiu Mocanu said in a news conference, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
Sergiu Mocanu continues to accuse Prosecutor General Valeriu Zubko of the murder. He said that Prime Minister Vlad Filat knew about this crime, but hid it in order to blackmail the prosecutor general. He described Vlad Filat’s assertion that he found out about this case from the press as untrue. The “Antimafie” leader also said that the first Deputy Speaker Vlad Plahotniuc convinced Vlad Filat that nobody will find out about this case.
“The Ministry of the Interior hid this case. Deputy Minister Ion Bodrug admitted this by saying that the police weren’t informed about this case. The police should have been involved. All the police officers laughed at the deputy minister’s statements,” said Sergiu Mocanu.
According to him, the suspect named by the prosecutors – the vice president of the Chisinau Court of Appeals Gheorghe Cretu - is not to blame and will not be found guilty by court as there is no evidence.
Sergiu Mocanu said that Vlad Filat, Vlad Plahotniuc and Valeriu Zubko should resign. He considers that Minister of the Interior Dorin Recean must also offer his resignation as he is blackmailed by Vlad Plahotniuc because he obtained his Master’s Degree by fraud and fights on two fronts.
The movement’s leader also said that the hunting involved businessmen from Falesti district and local prosecutors. According to him, he is furnished with facts by policemen who refuse to obey the mafiot administration of the country.
