The coach of the national U-21 football team of Moldova Sergiu Kleshchenko presented the lineup for the friendly match against Armenia that will be played in Erevan on June 11, IPN reports.
The lineup includes: Victor Straistari (Petrocub-Hâncești), Lucian Cebotari (Zaria Bălți), Igor Mostovei (Speranța Nisporeni) – goalkeepers; Vladislav Slivca (Petrocub-Hâncești), Igor Chiperi, Vadim Dijinari (both Sheriff Tiraspol), Sandu Mateescu (Dinamo-Auto Tiraspol), Denis Furtuna (Zimbru Chisinau), Artur Craciun (Milsami Orhei) – fullbacks; Raul Obleac (Frosinone, Italy), Cristian Dros (ASU Politehnica Timișoara, Romania), Vsevolod Nihaev (Dinamo-Auto Tiraspol), Victor Stînă (Milsami Orhei), Ruslan Chelari (Speranța Nisporeni), Radu Scoarță (Zimbru Chisinau), Ion Mamaliga (Codru Lozova) – halfbacks; Vadim Gulceac (Petrocub-Hâncești), Petru Neagu, Nichita Iurașco (both Zimbru Chisinau), Maxim Cojocaru (Sheriff Tiraspol), Artiom Carastoian (Sfântul Gheorghe Suruceni) – strikers.
The exhibition match against Armenia will be a trial before the start of the 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. Moldova plays in a group with Germany, Belgium, Wales and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
