The executive’s secretary general Sergei Palihovici was named the Government’s representative on the National Anticorruption Center’s Board, IPN reports, quoting a Cabinet decision.
Among the members of the Board are the Center’s director, deputy directors and subdivisions heads, the anticorruption prosecutor, the head of the National Integrity Commission, representatives of the competent parliamentary commission, the parliamentary opposition, trade unions, and civil society (its representative is chosen at a contest by the parliamentary commission) and others.
The Board approves the regulations governing its activity and the National Anticorruption Center’s development policies, the Center’s action plans and performance indicators and periodically assesses the results of the Center’s activity.
