The leader of the Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN) Serafim Urecheanu accompanied by his five-year-old niece Nastica voted for the country’s democratic future, for integration into the European Union and for a bright future for the young generation, Info-Prim Neo reports. The AMN leader told the press that he wants all the children and young people in Moldova to ive in a democratic state, in peace, harmony and prosperity. He said that he sees Moldova a developing state that will become part of the EU institutions unconditionally. “We must think of the future. The country needs peace, agreement, welfare and democracy. We must liquidate any danger that could lead to a tense situation in Moldova, avoid interethnic conflicts, eradicate corruption and stop swinging between the Ester and the West as this brought our country to extreme poverty,” Urecheanu told the reporters. “The head of state must be elected by direct vote by the people so as to represent the entire nation,” the AMN leader said. Urecheanu considers that the AMN, together with the Democratic forces, will have a large majority in the legislature so that they could choose the Government and the head of state and start building a new life.
