Serafim Urecheanu: Only traitors and sluggards leave AMN

The leader of the Moldova Noastra Alliance Serafim Urecheanu, in the program “Shadow Cabinet” on Jurnal TV, said that those who defect from the AMN are traitors, sluggards and persons who accept large sums of money from other parties, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Filat (Vlad Filat, the leader of the PLDM) invited the head of Soroca district to join the PLDM for several times and ultimately made him do it,” Serafim Urecheanu said. The president of the AMN said he is not upset that some of his colleagues defected, stressing the fact that 1,000 of the 30,000 members left the party is not so serious. He stated that those persons are profiteers and traitors who have been hiding since 2003 under the umbrella of the most important Opposition forces in Moldova. Political analyst Corneliu Ciurea said that the Democratic Party and the Christian Democratic People’s Party experienced similar migration. “The politics in Moldova turn into sale-purchase and we do not have many people who would resist the temptation,” he said. Earlier, Serafim Urecheanu told Info-Prim Neo that he will reveal names of persons who buy local leaders when the time comes.
