Serafim Urecheanu and Dorin Chirtoaca are out of any danger, PG and MIA

The life and health of the president of the Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN) Serafim Urecheanu and of the Mayor General of Chisinau and vice president of the Liberal Party Dorin Chirtoaca are out of danger, Moldova’s Prosecutor General Valeriu Gurbulea and the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Valentin Zubic told a news conference on January 15, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. Valeriu Gurbulea said that the letter that Urecheanu received during the holidays is still examined by the prosecutors dealing with exceptional cases in concert with officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Prosecutor General said that the content of the letter is not threatening. “Even from semantic viewpoint, the letter does not contain physical harassment threats,” Gurbulea said. “I think that the aim of the congratulation letter is to create an image,” the Prosecutor General said, avoiding saying who pursued this goal. Valentin Zubic said that the mayor general’s car has not been shadowed. “Believe me, if he had been followed, he wouldn’t have noticed,” Zubic said. During the winter holidays, the AMN leaded received a congratulation letter at the party’s head office with the message: “Your actions are over the limit. This is the last warning. If you do not stop, the next time we will not ‘joke’, but will take serious action.” Dorin Chirtoaca said that at the start of last December, he saw a luxury car with Transnistrian license numbers pursuing him.
