Head of Parliament Andrian Candu, President Nicolae Timofti and Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet issued a public call for social dialogue by which they urge the political class and civil society to become involved in the identification of solutions for resolving the disputes and breaking the impasse, IPN reports.
According to the Government and Parliament, the authorities invite the NGO sector, the political class, academic community, creation associations, social partners (trade unions and employers) and other relevant public players to take part in the launch of an open dialogue designed to lay the basis of a common platform for uniting society and creating conditions for the country’s stable development.
“To show will and openness to resolving the ascertained problems, acting responsibly for the benefit of the country and the people, we, as representatives of the most important institutions of the state, will sign, on the created dialogue platform, a social pact entitled “For Moldova,” says the appeal signed by the senior state officials.
The first meeting of the members of the created dialogue platform was set for October 13.
