Seizures worth about 364 million lei have been carried out in the bank fraud case. Among the confiscated goods there are assets, financial means, social capital. 11 luxury cars have been also seized, IPN reports.

The National Anticorruption Center (CNA) mentions in a press release that the 11 cars belong to companies managed by one of the beneficiaries of the fraud. These are luxury cars, including armoured cars, Mercedes (GL, Maybach), Bentley and Toyota brands, part of them being already seized.

Since it has been founded, the Agency for the recovery of criminal assets (ARBI) has confiscated assets worth about 1.5 billion lei. ARBI is an autonomous subdivision of the CNA, in charge of carrying out parallel financial investigations, confiscating and capitalizing criminal assets, as well as negotiating the repatriation of criminal assets.
