Some of the students whose BAC tests were annulled may have a chance at retaking the tests in this year’s auxiliary session. Every student’s situation will be examined separately, reports Info-Prim Neo. Head of Examination and Evaluation Agency Adrian Ghicov stated on Monday, at a meeting with the parents of students who failed the BAC tests, that the students may write a petition for an audition with the 20 representatives of the Agency, who will vote on each case separately. The students who want to see their annulled papers should write a petition to members of the BAC committee from the center where they took the exam. Both procedures may be done only during this week. Some of the parents left the meeting thinking that the petition they will submit to the Examination and Evaluation Agency is for the students to be given a passing grade for the annulled papers. They went, afterwards, to the BAC centers, and will, expectedly, have returned with the written petitions by the end of the day. Minister of education Mihail Sleahtitchi told Info-Prim Neo that the annulled papers will not be re-examined under any circumstance. The arguments annexed to these papers were well defended by the supervisors, says the minister, who doesn’t believe that there is any justification for similar answers, or for using the phone or means to cheat. The BAC test results were posted on Friday, June 29. 295 tests were annulled, due to regulatory violations.
