The Constitutional Court on March 21 validated the seat of MP occupied by Alexandru Barbarosie, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the Court, the next substitute candidate on the list of the Liberal Democratic Party Alexandru Barbarosie presented a statement to the Central Election Commission whereby he informs that he accepted the seat of MP. In its plenary meeting, the Constitutional Court identified no circumstances that can prevent the validation of the seat.
Alexandru Barbarosie replaces in Parliament Kiril Luchinski, who vacated his seat of his own free will on March 2.
