Schools of Chisinau municipality provided with furniture, linoleum and dye

Chisinau Municipal Council allocated, on Thursday meeting, August 3, MDL 1.8 mln in order to purchase linoleum and furniture for the schools of the municipality. The resources will be distributed equally to all those five districts. At the same time, the councilors allocated MDL 500 000 for ensuring schools with dyes – 100 000 for each district. Tatiana Nagnibeda, the interim head of the General Department for Education, Science, Youth and Sports, said at the meeting, that linoleum and furniture for schools has not been bought for years, the current needs amounting to about MDL 12 mln. According to her, CMC will have to allocate in one month money for purchasing glass for windows. The municipal councilors proposed to discuss, in September, during one of the meetings of CMC, the issue on equipping the schools for the new school year. The Municipal Council approved this year allocation of MDL 22 mln of those MDL 100 mln necessary for current repairing of the pre-higher education institutions of Chisinau. Until now, about MDL 14 mln had been allotted for the needs of the education institutions.
