School year end festivities to be held May 31

Students from all over the country are expected to take part in the traditional school year end festivities starting at 8:30am on May 31. After these festivities, most of the students go on vacation, while the ninth and twelfth graders are to take graduation exams, IPN reports.

The first exam for ninth graders is sat on June 5, when other language speaking students will take the exam in the Romanian language and literature. On June 8 the ninth graders take the math exam, on June 12 the exam in the language of learning, while the last exam, in history, on June 15.

The Baccalaureate session also starts with the exam in the Romanian language and literature for other language speakers, on June 2. On June 6, there will be sat the second exam, in the language of learning, while on June 9 the exam in the foreign language. The next exam will be taken on June 13, in the math and in history, depending on specialization. The students of arts and sport schools will take exams in arts and sport. On June 16, the twelfth graders will sit the exam of their choice. The Baccalaureate session ends on June 20, with the exam in the mother tongue for Ukrainian, Gagauz and Bulgarian students.
