The order in which the election contenders will take part in debates at the public radio and television stations between March 12 and April 3 was decided by draw on March 11, Info-Prim Neo reports. Election debates will take place at Radio Moldova and Moldova 1 TV channel from Monday through Saturday. Every station will broadcast by three programs of 30 minutes each a day. On April 3, there will be aired four programs. By two election runners will take part in the debates. Three candidates will be invited to some of the programs owing to the odd number of contenders. The last programs will last for 45 minutes. The debates will take place at 19.45 on TV and 8.00 on the radio, at 21.40 on TV and 11.00 on the radio, and at 22.30 on TV and 17.00 on the radio. The additional April 3 programs will start at 18.10 on TV and 9.00 on the radio. The Moldova Unita Party will meet the Actiunea Europeana Party (MAE) at debates on March 12, starting at 22.30 on TV and 17.00 on the radio. On March 12, Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN) will participate in debates together with the independent candidate Sergiu Banari, at 8.00 on the radio and 19.45 on TV, while the debates of the independents Valentina Cusnir and Alexandr Lomakin will start at 11.00 on the radio and 21.40 on TV. On March 13, debates will be held by the independents Valentina Cusnir and Sergiu Banari, the Social-Democratic Party (PSD) and the independent candidate Alexandr Lomakin, and the Republican Party (PR) and the Liberal Party (PL). On March 16, duels will have the Labor Union “Patria-Rodina” and the Centrist Union of Moldova, the independent Tatiana Tambalist and the Democratic Party (PDM), the For Neam and Tara Party and the Liberal Democrat Party of Moldova (PLDM). On March 17, the Communist Party of Moldova (PCRM) will meet three independent candidates, while Moldova Noastra Allaince will face the independent Stefan Uratu. Same day, debates will be held by the Conservator Party (PC) and the Christian Democratic People’s Party (PPCD). The election debates on Moldova 1 and Radio Moldova started on March 9. Four more rounds will be held during March 18-23, March 24-26, March 27-31, and April 1-3.
