The schedule for carrying out the overdue measures of the Association Agreement with the EU was drafted and approved. Each authority is to report the existing problems and the steps taken to implement the outstanding measures, the executive’s press service has said after a meeting of the Governmental Commission for European Integration, IPN reports.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip welcomed the reaffirming of the EU’s commitment to strengthen the political association and economic integration and the reiteration of its support for reform efforts. He noted that the Government’s priorities stated in the letter addressed to the President of the European Commission Jean Claude Juncker coincide with the recommendations contained in the Council of the European Union’s conclusions on Moldova.
The meeting examined the current stage in carrying out the overdue measures for fulfilling the Plan of Acton for implementing the Association Agreement between Moldova and the European Union.
It was decided that the Governmental Commission for European Integration will meet weekly, after each ordinary meeting of the Cabinet.
