A list of 52 candidates for Chisinau City Council, including Valeriu Munteanu, candidate for the capital’s mayoralty, was submitted on September 11 to the Chisinau Electoral Constituency Electoral Council, IPN reports.
The list is made up of 26 women and 26 men, between 19 and 39 years of age. "They are lawyers, university professors and high school teachers, engineers, economists, psychologists, sociologists, accountants and entrepreneurs. The vast majority are employed and are specialists at their workplaces”, said a statement released by USB.
Two people on the USB list have previously run in elections, whereas for the other 50 it is their first experience. "The USB list includes young people, who share the Romanian goal for Bessarabia, they represent the generation of the reunification, the USB solution for strengthening and developing the reunification trend", says the quoted source.
"Valeriu Munteanu and USB will never be in coalition with PSRM, Igor Dodon and Moscow. Valeriu Munteanu and USB have solutions to the problems of the capital city and are ready to discuss them in debates with the other candidates”, the press release states.
