Santa distributes gifts, joy to boarding schools in Zgurita, Vasoca

Santa Claus and a team of pupils have distributed gifts and joy to over 300 children placed in the boarding schools in Zgurita village, Drochia district, and in Vasoca village, Soroca district. The Christmas Caravan, a traditional drive of Children's Foundation “Clipa Siderala”, is taking place from December 14 to 22. A representative of Clipa Siderala, Ana Calarasi, has told Info-Prim Neo that the children from the two residential schools had plenty of surprises on December 16. “It's a superb day, full of surprises, a day when the children got to know the tricks of good mood makers,” she said. The pupils accompanying Santa managed to render the orphan the magic of the winter holidays, bringing them friendship, candies, clothes and toys. The pupils from Elena Alistar high school from Chisinau performed a play for the orphans. The event was attended by students from the high schools Constantin Negruzzi, Elena Alistar and from school 33. On November 17, as many as 70 people attended the Christmas Caravan. The Christmas Caravan is at its 11th edition, as its bus carried gifts for over 5,000 children.
