Santa brings 70 kg of drugs to an inhabitant of Visoca

An inhabitant of Visoca village was arrested by police on New Year’s Eve for holding a significant quantity of drugs. The employees of the Anti-Drug Service of the Police Office of Soroca raion gather proofs to initiate penal proceedings against the inhabitant of Visaoca village Ion Mihai aged 56 for holding 70 kg of poppy. If he will be found guilty, he risks serving 15 years. According to sources from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the drugs were found out in his household. The value of the drugs amounts to MDL 40 thousand. While searched, the man recognised that he wanted to sell the drugs throughout Moldova. The police found that the man was selling narcotics for a significant period of time and this business was quite profitable.
