President Maia Sandu today promoted her economic adviser Veaceslav Negruța, former minister of finance during 2009-2013, to Secretary General of the Presidential Office, effective Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Negruța’s predecessor, Cristina Gherasimov, will continue as Sandu’s foreign policy and European integration adviser.
Additionally, Stella Jantuan has been appointed as Sandu’s political adviser, also serving as a liaison officer for relations with the public authorities and civil society.
Finally, Sandu accepted the resignation of her chief public communication officer and spokesperson Sorina Ștefîrță.
