The Vaduil lui Voda - based national center for rehabilitation of invalids and pensioners “Speranta” and the sanatorium “Victoria” located in the Ukrainian town Sergheevca will be renovated in 2013-2014. These institutions are managed by the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the Ministry, the first repair and equipment works at “Victoria” already started. Over 5 million lei will be invested in the renovation works. “Speranta” will start to be repaired in 2014.
The sanatorium “Speranta” is intended for persons suffering from heart and locomotor diseases. It has 260 places and houses mainly pensioners and persons with disabilities. The beneficiaries are issued with medical rehabilitation tickets once in three years, while the war invalids once in a year. The tickets are issued by the district social assistance divisions.
As many as 4,395 tickets will be issued this year for “Victoria” and 3,718 for “Speranta”.
