Sale of alcoholic beverages near cemeteries is banned

About 30 companies will be selling products at the entrance to Saint Lazarus Cemetery and the Central Cemetery located on Armeneasca St in Chisinau on Low Sunday, on May 1 and 2, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the April 26 meeting of Chisinau City Hall officials, Vladimir Nirca, head of the General Trade, Public Food and Service Provision Division, said sale authorizations will be issued in the near future. The companies will sell soft drinks, bakery products and traditional Easter goods. The sale of alcoholic beverages near cemeteries will be banned, said Vladimir Nirca.
