Employers in state-run and monopolist companies will be able to decide what salary system to use - tariff or non-tariff. This became possible after the Government amended and abrogated a number if its previous decisions, Info-Prim Neo reports.
At the request of the social partners, it was proposed that the salary conditions for managers of such companies be laid down in the management contracts signed by the senior executive body and the manager, without formulating a relevant normative document. However, the regulations according to which the salary of managers cannot exceed five average monthly pays for the managed company remained in force.
The bonuses cannot exceed 50% of the salary a month or 4.8 salaries a year. The pays of the managers whose companies have salary arrears towards employees will not be increased until the debts are paid. These managers also will not receive bonuses, increments or other rewards.
The salary system in the real sector was liberalized through the amendments to the Salary Law made on November 20, 2008.
